Cameron Roberts: Lawyer • Community Activist • Kurt’s Enthusiast

Cameron Roberts
By Jennifer Colosimo

As an Atlanta native, Cameron Roberts grew up trekking into Peachtree Corners for shopping, exploring and eating at family favorites, like Kurt’s Euro Bistro. (Tip: The schnitzel has always been her favorite.) Now, as an attorney with Bridger Law Group, a law firm that specializes in immigration and personal injury law, she gets to give back to the community she loves—not to mention the one she now calls home. And her list of favorites just keeps growing.

How did you know this was the career for you?

Cameron Roberts: I first started as a district attorney and some of the cases I would focus on would be crimes against women and children. I truly felt like I was able to make a difference in the lives of women that needed someone on their side at a very difficult time in their lives. After I left the DA’s office, I still felt connected to women and wanted to continue to be an advocate for them. I joined the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers (GAWL), a statewide nonprofit organization that always finds creative and impactful ways to support and advocate for women in our community.

What event is your favorite way to give back to the community? The Legal Food Frenzy

CR: I helped found The Legal Food Frenzy for law school students in 2011 when former Attorney General Sam Olens first started this event and have been participating in it every year since. This initiative supports local children in need through donations and fundraising for our local food bank. It specifically serves the children of the Peachtree Corners/Norcross community during the summer when they no longer have access to free-and-reduced meal options at school.

How can the community get involved in this?

CR: Legal Food Frenzy 2025 will be a Kid’s Carnival in downtown Norcross Park April 19. This event will be free to the public and a safe space for families and children to enjoy some beautiful springtime activities while raising funds for our local children in need.

Where can people find you most in the neighborhood?

CR: I love Stäge! They have fabulous cocktails and it’s always a great place to meet business folks for lunch. Their bone marrow soup is one of my favorites. My husband and I also love Tortugas Cuban Grill. At my firm, we alternate where we go out, but everyone loves Tortugas! They make amazing mojitos and croquettas, plus the atmosphere is fun with dancing and live music on the weekends.
