In the historic Liberty Candy Company building, the pink-drenched Caroline’s On Main is named for the daughter of Chef Nicholas St. Clair (of Antebellum and Peyton’s Pies fame). Their Fried Chicken and Bourbon Waffle is a perfect pairing of crispy lemon-herb brined and buttermilk fried chicken topped with a sweet and savory bacon jam, brown butter farm egg, a drizzle of maple syrup and their hot sauce foam.
