The William Root House, built in 1845 and documented as one of Marietta’s oldest houses, is operated as a museum and offers a look into the daily life of historic Marietta. To mark the landmark’s 175th year, Cobb Landmarks & Historical Society has created a wish list for donors to gift repairs and upgrades to the house, including replacement shutters, security cameras and more.
