Many children take having the school supplies they need for granted, but for students who can’t meet that need, there’s Pencils for Success, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by Alpharetta High School senior Davita Verma. Supplies and donations from individuals and companies such as Staples and Target are distributed to underprivileged children throughout Georgia as well as Kansas, Texas and India.
