Construction Resources’ new Buckhead Design Studio offers professionals and homeowners a seamless, luxurious space to bring design visions to life.

When Construction Resources (CR) opened the Cambria Gallery on Roswell Road in 2015, it was the first step toward bringing its 50+ year Decatur design legacy to the Buckhead community.
Today, expanding that showroom has created a curated experience for both professionals and homeowners to peruse an exclusive collection of top-tier brands showcased in the elevated CR-style craftsmanship.
A Design Inspiration Brought to Life
“Our Buckhead location marks a sophisticated debut of our expanded offerings in one cohesive, boutique environment,” said Whitney Klinkenborg, vice president of showrooms for Construction Resources. “A more intimate scale allowed us to craft a bold design narrative—luxurious, imaginative and immersive. Throughout the space, exquisitely styled vignettes highlight our unmatched expertise in fabrication and installation, spanning countertops, bespoke cabinetry, artisanal tile, premium flooring, elegant plumbing fixtures and sculptural fireplaces.”
The 12,500-square-foot showroom delivers 15 vignette views, including live kitchens and bathrooms built with brands such as Sub-Zero, Wolf and Cove; Kohler; Cancos Tile & Stone; Bell Cabinetry; UMI Stone; Cambria and more. Visitors can become familiar with these big-name brands by getting hands-on with stone, tile and flooring, plumbing fixtures, hardware and more as they dream up their projects. Each space illustrates the way these products live in the real world. It’s more than an array of materials, this showroom reveals what’s possible.

“Our team of professional design consultants brings deep industry knowledge, refined aesthetic sensibility and hands-on experience to every collaboration,” said Ariana Pecoraro, the CR Design Studio manager. “Each consultant is highly trained in materials, finish applications and spatial planning, making them an invaluable resource for builders, designers and homeowners alike.”
CR partnered with Michael Morris of M. Crisler Designs and collaborated with trusted brand partners and their own in-house experts to ensure every detail—from layout and product mix to lighting and finishing touches—was carefully considered. According to Amanda Darley, vice president of marketing for Construction Resources, “the expectation is simple: [this showroom] should spark ideas, set a tone and show clients what’s possible when great design meets expert execution.”
How to Get Hands-On
Whether industry professional or homeowner, Pecoraro and the team deliver a seamless, luxurious and intentional experience. Experienced design consultants provide tailored recommendations to bring each vision to life, be it guidance on material selection, layout optimization or installation techniques.
“It’s unique because the open-concept layout creates a seamless journey through curated brand experiences, allowing visitors to explore a variety of design styles and pairings,” said Pecoraro. “This approach fosters an environment where clients can feel confident and inspired throughout the design process.”
In addition, they provide expert guidance for industry professionals on a wide range of finishes—from surfaces and flooring to cabinetry and plumbing fixtures—curating selections that elevate the aesthetic and functional goals of every space. Whether working on new construction or remodels, it provides a collaborative environment designed to simplify the process, inspire creativity and deliver exceptional results.
“What truly sets the experience apart is the studio’s versatility,” said Klinkenborg. “For our professional partners—designers, builders and architects—we serve as a trusted extension of their team. Whether they prefer to lead the appointment themselves or rely on our consultants to guide their clients, we adapt to their workflow and level of involvement.”
Buckhead Built Back Better
“At Construction Resources, our goal is simple: to give designers, builders and homeowners their time back through an elevated customer experience,” said Mitch Hires, CR’s CEO. “We’ve built a model that simplifies the process without compromising quality. Whether you’re selecting a single product or specifying across all ten categories, CR is your trusted, all-in-one resource.”
Hires’ hope is that when a client finishes a project, they say, “‘That was seamless. I felt supported at every step. I can’t wait to work with CR again, and I’m going to tell all my friends about them.’ We want to simplify the process and elevate the
customer experience.”
As with any good build, success also depends on a firm foundation. CR’s reputation, decades of experience and commitment to intentional collaboration with the home improvement industry is perpetuated by their incredibly talented team members. They guarantee a project’s creativity, innovation and longevity—start to finish.
“When people walk through the doors of CR Design Studio, they don’t just see the difference—they feel it,” said Hires.
