The Alpharetta High School varsity girls volleyball team just got major kudos. Mayor Jim Gilvin and City Council members honored the group at City Hall in December 2020 with a proclamation congratulating them on their first-ever state championship win. The team competed in Class 7A and took on Walton High School, which has won the title 14 times.
