In 2020, the City of Dunwoody completed a segment of a shared-use path along North Shallowford Road with the goal of improving connectivity, safety and walkability in the community. Now, a new project is proposed for a 0.8-mile segment that will run along North Shallowford Road from Chamblee Dunwoody Road to Cotillion Drive and will incorporate wayfinding signage, decorative pedestrian lighting and enhanced landscaping.
