On July 10, Cherry Street Brewpub at Halcyon held its first beer mile. The Run, Ruck & Brew Beer Mile was created to honor the service of our troops, with raised funds going to the veteran-focused nonprofit Camp Southern Ground. Another portion of the funds raised went to Forsyth’s own Corporal William Cook to help him buy tickets home to visit his family from his deployment in Okinawa.
