For over 50 years, athletes with intellectual disabilities have competed through Special Olympics Georgia (SOGA), which currently has more than 18,500 people participating in nearly 30 sports. Volunteer opportunities with SOGA are rewarding and varied: help out at the state games or special events, coach a sport and work closely with the athletes, fundraise or participate in administrative and leadership roles.
