Born and raised right here in Alpharetta, Staci Sparrow knows this neighborhood like the back of her hand—where to eat, where to shop and where to relax. Alongside her husband, Luke, and their four “wild” (her words) boys, she also knows where to go to disconnect as a busy family juggling sports, school and social calendars. But perhaps what she knows best is that there isn’t a better community in which to run her business. She moved Stash Design + Decor to downtown Alpharetta last year and loves being in the thick of it. To her, interior design is about more than just creating beautiful spaces—it’s about transforming how people live and feel in their homes. She’s inspired by the individuality of each client that comes through her doors and admits there’s no better feeling than seeing someone light up when they walk into a space she designed that truly feels like them.
What fuels the decision to raise your family in the same community where you grew up?
Staci Sparrow: Alpharetta has always felt like home—it’s where family values, a strong sense of belonging and a supportive network come naturally. It’s meaningful to build a life for my family in a place that holds so many memories and continues to grow with us.
What do you love about the way the community interacts?
SS: There’s a genuine warmth in how people connect in Alpharetta. Whether it’s neighbors stopping to say hello, local events that bring everyone together or small businesses lifting each other up, there’s a real sense of community pride. It doesn’t feel transactional—it feels personal.
As a business owner, what do you love about being in downtown Alpharetta?
SS: Downtown Alpharetta is vibrant, charming and constantly evolving. As the owner of Stash Design + Decor, I love being part of a walkable, welcoming hub where creativity thrives and local businesses are celebrated. The foot traffic, the energy, the support from other entrepreneurs—it’s the perfect place to be inspired daily and connect with clients in a meaningful way.
Where can people find you most in Alpharetta?
SS: You’ll most likely find me grabbing lunch with my team at Lily Sushi Bar or Ceviche Taqueria & Margarita Bar—two of our favorite local spots—or spending quality time with my family out and about around town. We love supporting local and enjoying everything Alpharetta has to offer.
