The City Springs Theatre Company is thrilled to be presenting The Music Man September 6-22 at the Byers Theatre in the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center. Meredith Willson’s six-time, Tony Award®-winning musical has been enchanting audiences since the 50’s with its story about a traveling con man who uses his charm to swindle a small town while finding unexpected love in the process. This classic comedy musical features explosive dance numbers and a variety of instruments played right on stage, including trombones, clarinets, flutes and cymbals.

Tony Award®-winning artistic director Shuler Hensley, who previously co-starred alongside Hugh Jackman in the second Broadway revival of the show, can’t wait to bring this eccentric story back to the stage, “It’s exciting to return to the material while it is still fresh in my mind and put our own stamp on it for our wonderful theatre company here in Sandy Springs.”
